Job Summary:
The Team Leader – Current Account will be responsible for driving the acquisition of current accounts through effective team management, business development, and customer relationship strategies. The role requires leadership skills, a strong understanding of current account products, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets in the banking domain.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Lead a team of Relationship Officers / Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and training support.
- Allocate leads and plan daily/weekly activities for the team.
- Business Development:
- Drive the acquisition of new current accounts from SMEs, traders, corporates, and professionals.
- Identify and develop new business segments and opportunities.
- Ensure quality sourcing of current account customers with desired profile.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to increase wallet share and cross-sell banking products.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints effectively and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Sales Target & Reporting:
- Ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for current account acquisitions.
- Analyze team performance metrics and report regularly to higher management.
- Track conversions, pipeline, and ensure follow-ups for closures.
- Compliance & Process Adherence:
- Ensure strict adherence to bank policies, KYC norms, and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct periodic audits of team processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
