Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer with expertise in Node.js to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining applications on the AWS platform using Node.js. As a Senior AWS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable and resilient solutions that leverage AWS services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using Node.js.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure solutions on AWS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and performance optimization in AWS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and application deployments.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices and drive adoption within the organization.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 9 years of experience in software development, with a focus on AWS cloud services and Node.js.
- Extensive experience in designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS, including services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and ECS.
- Proficiency in Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, preferably MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
