Role Overview/Job Purpose:
The Production Printer Service Engineer ensures the highest levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining service parameters and providing exceptional support for Konica Minolta Production printers and related software and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pre-sales operations including demos, roadshows, and site inspections.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Konica Minolta Production printers, software, and hardware.
- Maintain necessary site kits to minimize machine downtime.
- Provide key operator training to users.
- Ensure service deliverables meet or exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
- Optimize output in an economical manner and ensure installations are completed within committed time frames.
- Drive service revenue growth through volume growth initiatives and effective inventory management.
- Be available to work in 24×7 environments as per business needs.
- Travel extensively to support customers.
- Actively participate in organizational programs such as SMT and Outward.
Qualification:
- Technical understanding of production printers.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience handling production printers and providing technical support.
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in relevant field.
- Proficient in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multifunctional printers (MFPs), network, and local printers.
- Expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting including copy quality, SC error codes, and ELP software for MFP printers.
- Ability to configure print servers effectively.
