Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MRP Consultant with hands-on experience in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Material Requirements Planning processes, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and transitioning MRP functionalities from ECC to S/4HANA as part of digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements related to MRP and supply planning.
• Configure and support MRP modules in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Define and maintain master data relevant to MRP (Material Master, BOMs, Work Centers, Routing, etc.).
• Set up and maintain planning strategies, lot-sizing procedures, planning horizons, and procurement types.
• Execute and monitor MRP runs and troubleshoot planning exceptions.
• Optimize planning parameters to improve supply chain performance.
• Participate in S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects related to MRP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PP, MM, SD, APO/IBP, Procurement).
• Provide end-user training and create documentation for MRP processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Functional Expertise:

• Strong understanding of MRP concepts: net change planning, lot sizing, planning strategies, consumption modes, etc.
• Deep experience with SAP ECC MRP (transaction codes like MD01, MD02, MD04, MD05, MD07, etc.)
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA MRP Live, MRP Areas, and Advanced Planning features.
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps related to MRP in S/4HANA.
• Integration knowledge with Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.
• Exposure to SAP IBP or APO is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging (advantageous).
• Understanding of SAP table structures relevant to MRP (e.g., MDVM, MARC, MAST, etc.).
• Familiarity with Fiori Launchpad and apps in S/4HANA.
