Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven NR Insignia Relationship Manager to join our Wealth Management team in Mumbai. This pivotal role focuses on acquiring and managing high-net-worth Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients, enhancing the liability book, and expanding the Investment Assets Under Management (AUM) portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in NRI banking, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record in cross-selling financial products.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Portfolio Expansion
- Targeted Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire high-net-worth NRI clients through targeted outreach, referrals, and networking. Develop strategies to attract potential NRI customers and convert leads into active clients.
- Relationship Management: Manage and deepen relationships with existing NRI clients to grow the liability book and increase Investment AUM. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
Cross-Selling & Revenue Generation
- Product Promotion: Promote and cross-sell a comprehensive suite of financial products, including Forex, Insurance, Investments, Retail Assets, and Business Banking solutions. Develop tailored financial strategies to meet the unique needs of each client, enhancing product penetration and client retention.
- Revenue Generation: Drive revenue and performance goals for the NRI channel. Collaborate with other business units to generate cross-referrals and ensure customers have seamless access to all bank products.
Portfolio Management & Financial Advisory
- Portfolio Reviews: Conduct regular portfolio reviews, financial check-ups, and performance assessments for each client. Provide personalized financial advice, ensuring alignment with clients’ financial goals and risk profiles.
- Financial Planning: Develop and implement customized investment plans for clients. Monitor market trends and provide timely advice to clients.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations affecting NRI clients and ensure compliance in all client interactions.
- Risk Management: Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees.
Collaboration & Client Engagement
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with product specialists and Client Experience Managers to deliver superior service and tailored financial solutions. Ensure 360° client engagement through proactive communication and personalized attention.
- Client Engagement: Engage NR Personal Banking clients by identifying and meeting needs via cross-sell of retail banking products. Execute applicable sales campaigns as designed and released by country segment teams.
