Mendix Sr.Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mendix Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in low-code application development using Mendix, along with a solid background in Java/J2EE and front-end technologies. As a Mendix Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to design, build, and deploy scalable applications that support business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies like SCRUM to deliver quality applications.
• Partner with business stakeholders throughout the application lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to deployment.
• Build, test, and deploy applications using Mendix low-code platform, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Extend Mendix applications by developing reusable front-end components and back-end integration modules.
• Design scalable application architectures to support new business models and processes.
• Mentor and support business developers to ensure app consistency and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems via REST, SOAP, or other APIs.
• Leverage CI/CD tools for streamlined deployments and environment management.

Technical Qualifications (Preferred):

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Mendix Application Development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java/J2EE with a strong understanding of relational database design and structures.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Familiarity with React is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Visual Studio Team Services.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
• SCRUM certification is an added advantage.
