Key Responsibilities:
- Lead End-to-End Migration Projects:
- Execute comprehensive migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
- Work closely with Azure Architects and SMEs to develop and execute migration plans.
- Contribute to defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for migration processes.
- Azure Expertise:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Azure services and features.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and applications to determine compatibility with Azure.
- Hands-On Azure Experience:
- Utilize hands-on experience with Azure tools, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Site Recovery, Azure Resource Mover, Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure DevOps.
- CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based deployments.
- Ensure the efficiency and reliability of deployment processes.
- Infrastructure Validation and Testing:
- Conduct thorough testing of migrated systems from an Infrastructure Validation perspective in the Azure environment.
- Address and resolve any issues identified during testing and migration phases.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Azure migration and DevOps.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services and features.
- Proficiency in Azure tools, including ARM, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Resource Mover, Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation for Azure-based deployments.
- Experience in conducting thorough testing of migrated systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure or related areas.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms and migration strategies.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
