Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Design:
- Design and architect CI/CD pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage GCP infrastructure deployments.
- DevOps Toolchain:
- Have expertise in various DevOps tools supporting SCM & Release Management, including GitHub, Jenkins, Tekton, Docker, JIRA, SonarQube, Google Cloud CLI, Security Vulnerability Scan Tools, and Google Artifact Registry.
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Build infrastructure automation tools and frameworks leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling.
- Tekton/Jenkins Automation:
- Automate deployment pipelines using Tekton/Jenkins in a scalable, secure, and reliable manner.
- Serverless Deployment:
- Build and deploy Docker images in serverless infrastructure, such as Google Cloud Run.
- Developer Onboarding:
- Onboard product teams to the CI/CD framework, simplifying the developer experience and promoting standards and methodologies.
- Developer Support:
- Support developers through source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment based on the CI/CD framework.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with client standards, practices, and processes.
- Incorporate static and dynamic security vulnerability scan tools (FOSSA and CheckMarx) as part of the CI/CD process to ensure application security.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in designing and architecting CI/CD pipelines in GCP.
- Proficiency in IaC using Terraform for GCP infrastructure.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Tekton, Docker, JIRA, SonarQube, Google Cloud CLI, and Security Vulnerability Scan Tools.
- Expertise in building infrastructure automation tools and frameworks leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Tekton, Terraform, and various GCP services.
- Familiarity with serverless deployment in GCP, particularly Google Cloud Run.
- Ability to support and onboard product teams to CI/CD frameworks.
- Understanding of compliance standards and security practices.
