Cost Accountant – Dehaat – Pune Location

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate must be CMA / ICWA certified and possess hands-on experience in cost accounting, Bill of Materials (BOM), and product costing. This role is critical to ensuring cost-effective operations and contributing to informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze cost reports and costing audits for various business units.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze standard cost structures, including Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products.
• Monitor and control manufacturing and operational costs by collecting and analyzing cost data.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure accurate material and overhead costing.
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs) and investigate significant variances.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process from a costing perspective.
• Provide cost estimates for new or proposed products and processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and cost accounting standards.
• Support management with data for strategic decisions related to pricing, profitability, and cost optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• CMA / ICWA certification is mandatory.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the FMCG industry.
• Proven expertise in managing and analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and cost control.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
