Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Cuddalore. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil engineering with a focus on contractor and manpower management, along with hands-on experience in day-to-day civil maintenance within chemical/process industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contractor Management: Oversee and manage a team of 8 contractors, including civil, fabrication, plumbing, painting, carpentry, false ceiling, waterproofing, and furniture cleaning teams, totaling over 20 members.
• Work Deployment & Quality Assurance: Responsible for deploying contractors to complete various works, ensuring high quality and finishing standards are met as requested by the employees.
• Stability Certificates: Manage and renew the stability certificates for all divisions as per the due period.
• Layout Updates & Design: Update old office layouts using AutoCAD and design new layouts as required.
• Manpower & Contractor Management: Demonstrate strong manpower management and contractor management skills to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintenance & Safety: Work on civil maintenance tasks in chemical/process industries, ensuring safety standards are adhered to and that work is completed effectively.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering Standards: Understanding of civil engineering IS standards and industry best practices.
