Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Credit Card Sales to lead and grow our credit card business through open market channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit card sales and the ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Card Sales and Business Development:
- Drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in the open market for credit card sales.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets for credit card acquisition.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the open market to promote credit card products.
- Channel Management:
- Manage and oversee the open market credit card channel, ensuring optimal performance and growth.
- Develop and expand the credit card business through various channels including direct sales, partnerships, and referral programs.
- Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 10 Direct Sales Teams (DSTs) to drive credit card sales.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Set sales targets and monitor team performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Market Operations and Strategy Execution:
- Operate and manage credit card sales business effectively from the open market.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategize on how to penetrate new markets.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to adjust strategies as necessary.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Handle escalations and ensure prompt resolution of customer issues or grievances related to credit card sales.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in Credit Card Sales and Business Development.
- Strong understanding of the open market credit card channel and how to operate and grow business from it.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of 10 DSTs or more.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and monitor performance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a focus on results.
- Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of credit card sales, including market dynamics, competitor landscape, and regulatory requirements.
