Mandatory skills –
1. Must have strong knowledge/experience for Cloud (Azure is must) Infra, HA/DR approaches, application architectures (on Azure applications).
2. Should have DevOps knowledge/experience for Infra deployment (via CI/CD).
3. Should have knowledge/experience working on Azure DevOps, Terraform, Biceps (any one of these).
4. Very good communication skills (written/verbal), must be able to face/communicate with the client directly.
5. Must be working/acting as an individual contributor & able to complete his/her duties without anyone’s support.
6. Must be able to work in 24/7 environment (according to the project from different regions).
As an Infrastructure Architect, your key responsibilities are
- Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure to meet customer requirements.
- Develop infrastructure plans to support business investment decisions, balancing costs, risks, and quality.
- Create innovative and practical designs that account for the end-to-end technical infrastructure of a system, aligned with business strategy and objectives.
- Work closely with business clients to meet requirements and incorporate broader aspects such as product costs, data privacy, business continuity, and information security.
- Identify, define, and implement reusable assets and standards, ensuring adherence across products and portfolios.
- Ensure relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly across technology programs and projects.
- Contribute to the development of architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities.
- Work with vendors to assess products, understand delivery models, and assist in implementation.
- Collaborate across multiple projects with varied stakeholders, providing technical leadership and advisory services.
- Cultivate lasting relationships across business, IT, and vendors to maintain insight into the broader enterprise and industry trends.
- Recognize and drive the adoption of industry technology trends and emerging technologies.
- Evangelize the importance of technical quality and emerging technologies through mentoring, hackathons, and communities.
- Guide others in resolving complex issues in infrastructure architecture and solve escalated aspects of projects.
