(MFDs), and commercial printers. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and
experienced individual to join us as an Area Service Manager based in Noida, India.
Job Description:
The Area Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the service operations within a
designated region for Konica Minolta products. This role requires a seasoned professional with
at least 7 years of relevant experience in the printing and imaging industry, with a proven track
record in team management and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Service Management:
● Manage and oversee service operations within the assigned region, ensuring optimal
performance and adherence to service standards.
● Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery efficiency and customer
satisfaction.
● Monitor service metrics and KPIs, and take proactive measures to address any
deviations.
Team Leadership:
● Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of service engineers and technicians to achieve
performance targets and objectives.
● Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify
training needs to enhance team capabilities.
● Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement within
the service team.
Customer Relationship Management:
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs
and addressing any service-related issues or concerns.
● Act as a point of escalation for complex service issues, ensuring timely resolution and
customer satisfaction.
● Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback and insights, driving service
enhancements and product improvements.
Resource Management:
● Allocate resources effectively to meet service demands and priorities within the region.
● Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of spare parts and
resources required for service delivery.
● Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment processes to support service
operations efficiently.
Reporting and Analysis:
● Prepare regular reports and analysis on service performance, highlighting key trends,
challenges, and opportunities.
● Provide insights and recommendations to management for continuous improvement and
strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
● Minimum of 7 years of experience in the printing and imaging industry, with a focus on
service management.
● Proven experience in managing a team of service engineers and technicians.
● Strong technical knowledge of production printers, multi-function devices (MFDs), and
commercial printers, preferably Konica Minolta products.
● Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
