Job Description: Area Head – Insignia

Purpose of the Role: The Area Head – Insignia is responsible for guiding and motivating a team of Insignia Relationship Managers to achieve target revenue and balance sheet growth from the portfolio under the management of Insignia preferred banking clients. This role involves leveraging relationship management and strategic tactics to acquire new clients, deepen client relationships, cross-sell products, and engage with clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage CASA Book: Oversee the Current Account Savings Account (CASA) book, including both Existing Relationship Value (ERV) and New to Bank (NTB) clients, alongside the overall Wealth business.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor a team of Preferred Banking Relationship Managers, ensuring their development and performance.
  • Trade & FX Management: Manage the overall Trade and Foreign Exchange (FX) business as well as the asset business within the Insignia team.
  • Client Engagement: Ensure comprehensive client engagement, aiming for “total client ownership.”
  • Cross-Sell Opportunities: Collaborate with other business units to identify and leverage cross-sell opportunities.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines within the team.
  • Department Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to create an enabling work environment and provide the necessary infrastructure for the team.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.
  • Product Focus: Ensure consistent team focus and delivery across all products, including balance sheet, FX, investment, and asset products.
  • Talent Management: Hire and retain competent team members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Portfolio Analysis: Conduct portfolio analysis and align services with client needs to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
