We are looking for a skilled Data Testing Engineer with strong experience in ETL testing and exposure to AWS Cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data validation, transformation logic, data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end data validation and testing for ETL processes and data pipelines
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and automated test frameworks
- Validate data transformation logic and ensure data quality and integrity across stages
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues in ETL jobs and cloud data workflows
- Conduct performance and regression testing for large volumes of data
- Prepare test reports, defect logs, and collaborate for timely bug resolution
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data/ETL Testing
- Strong knowledge of SQL for writing complex queries and data validation
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar
- Proficient in AWS Cloud services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, or Athena
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehouse concepts
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in data environments
- Knowledge of Python/PySpark for data validation scripting
- Exposure to tools like Apache Airflow, Snowflake, or BigQuery
