🔍 Job Overview:
We are seeking a Lifecycle & Materials Engineer to support our Materials Engineering (Lifecycle Process) team. This role involves managing and maintaining accurate lifecycle information of electronic components used in our products, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our materials data processes and systems.
âś… Key Responsibilities:
• Collect lifecycle information from the supply base for Company-used parts
• Update and maintain lifecycle status in internal systems to reflect changes accurately
• Notify internal stakeholders of any discontinuance or part change notifications
• Evaluate part change requests and avoid duplication in records
• Track and inform relevant teams of changing technology trends via supplier inputs
• Identify and address interchangeability issues due to supplier specification variations
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve specification discrepancies
• Contribute to improving consistency, quality, and usability of material specifications
• Work with third-party vendors to synchronize company and external parts catalog data
• Identify and report data integrity issues such as missing or inaccurate part specs
🎯 Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in component engineering, materials engineering, or electronic/electromechanical component manufacturing
• Solid understanding of electronic component specifications and lifecycle management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and global suppliers
• Exposure to AI, RPA, or Machine Learning tools is a plus
