Job Overview:
We are seeking a Content Strategy Lead to drive engagement and user retention for a religious content vertical. The role involves curating, creating, and strategizing high-quality devotional content, ensuring its authenticity, and leveraging AI tools and social media trends to enhance audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a content strategy for the religious content vertical to ensure high engagement.
- Curate and create daily deity wallpapers, Raashifal, Panchaang, Pravachan, Bhajans, Aartis, Vrat Kathayen, and motivational quotes.
- Utilize AI tools to generate high-quality wallpapers, daily quotes, and other religious content.
- Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with Hindu festivals, Vrat days, and Panchaang updates.
- Ensure content authenticity by sourcing from verified religious texts, scholars, and reputable sources.
- Collaborate with design, product, and tech teams for seamless content delivery and engaging UI.
- Create shareable content formats optimized for WhatsApp, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Track and analyze content performance, optimize engagement, and increase daily active users (DAU).
- Identify new content opportunities based on audience insights, competitive analysis, and digital trends.
- Partner with religious organizations and experts to enhance content credibility.
- Maintain respect for religious sentiments while keeping the content engaging and contemporary.
- Stay updated on competitor strategies, market trends, and content innovations.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial leadership, or religious/spiritual content creation.
- Deep understanding of Hindu traditions, scriptures, and festivals with expertise in devotional content formats.
- Strong editorial skills and experience in high-quality digital content creation.
- Proficiency in multimedia content (images, audio, video, interactive formats).
- Analytical mindset with experience in tracking performance and audience insights.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with designers, video editors, and product teams.
- Passion for community engagement and understanding of viral content strategies.
- Proficiency in Hindi (knowledge of Sanskrit is a plus).
- Experience in news, digital media, or religious/spiritual content platforms is an advantage.
