Job Purpose:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the sales of waterproofing products in the project sales segment. This includes generating leads, conducting site inspections, providing technical support, and building relationships with stakeholders to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify potential leads through site visits and interactions with contractors, applicators, and dealers in the Guwahati area.
- Site Inspections: Conduct inspections of project sites and propose solutions, including product samples to convert leads.
- Technical Support: Provide pre and post-sales technical assistance for waterproofing products at project sites.
- Product Training: Train applicators on the proper application of waterproofing products and ensure effective usage.
- Market Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with large applicators, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demos to increase customer confidence and convert non-APL accounts.
- Market Intelligence: Share feedback with the marketing team on trends, competitors, and customer needs.
Skills:
- Civil construction knowledge and expertise in waterproofing products.
- Strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
