Accountant

About the Role:
Iredus is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a background in the restaurant industry. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks and financial transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements and budgets.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and vendor payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with tax filings and compliance.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in cost control measures.
• Collaborate with management for financial insights and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in accounting, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and payroll processing.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with POS systems and food/beverage cost analysis.
