ob Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts Receivable to oversee and manage the company’s receivables. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a focus on achieving timely collections and improving cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable Management:
- Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and reconciliation of accounts.
- Collection Oversight:
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for timely payments.
- Establish and maintain credit limits for customers, minimizing risks.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable team to meet organizational goals.
- Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for team members.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate and analyze aging reports to track overdue accounts.
- Provide regular updates to management on receivables status and cash flow.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all receivable transactions.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in the accounts receivable process.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing and collections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/ICWA preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
