Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced WebSphere Administrator with a strong background in managing Tomcat servers to join our dynamic IT team. Key Responsibilities:
- WebSphere Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
- Manage and monitor WebSphere server performance and resource utilization.
- Implement and maintain clustering and load balancing in WebSphere.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WebSphere-related issues and incidents.
- Perform regular patching and upgrades to ensure compliance and security.
- Tomcat Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Apache Tomcat servers.
- Monitor and optimize Tomcat server performance.
- Implement security best practices and manage SSL certificates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tomcat-related issues and incidents.
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures for Tomcat environments.
- General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage web applications.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of administration tasks.
- Ensure proper documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
