Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with expertise in Python, SQL, and Snowflake for our Pan India location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development with Snowflake, along with proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts. The candidate should also have experience in data analysis, data processing, data transformation, and Snowflake data loading using Python.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data analysis and data processing engines using Python within Snowflake environment.
- Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
- Connect Snowflake using Python and handle various types of files for data ingestion and processing.
- Design and implement data transformation processes using Python within Snowflake environment.
- Load data into Snowflake using Python scripts.
- Create user-defined functions in Snowflake for specific business requirements.
- Implement Snowsql for data manipulation and querying.
- Work on query performance tuning to optimize Snowflake database performance.
- Interpret and analyze business requirements and functional specifications to design appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features, Python libraries, and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of strong Python development experience with Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
- Hands-on experience in connecting Snowflake using Python and handling various file formats.
- Experience in data analysis, data processing, and data transformation using Python.
- Knowledge of Snowflake data loading techniques using Python.
- Experience in creating user-defined functions in Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Snowsql implementation.
- Understanding of data warehousing (DWH) concepts.
- Experience with DBT, FiveTran, and AWS is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
